Visual Voices feat. The Odyssey Project with Participants & Founder Brendan Bannon

The Odyssey Project | Warriors Come Home invites you to witness the journey home from war through the eyes of American Combat Veterans. Odyssey Project founder Brendan Bannon will be joined by veteran artists to share a rare glimpse of the veterans experience as rendered in photographs.

This past fall, Flower City Arts Center partnered with the Odyssey Project to offer a 12-week intensive photography workshop. The incredible results will be exhibited at FCAC starting Feb. 6!

About Odyssey
Odyssey Project | Warriors Come Home is a unique arts engagement program for veterans. Through photography and writing, veterans share the complex experiences of war and the search for peace. Flower City Arts Center joined CEPA gallery in Buffalo and Josephine Herrick Project in New York City as hosts of Odyssey chapters in new York State.

About Bannon
Photographer and community collaborative artist has had his personal work exhibited at The MoMA and UN Headquarters. His collaborative community projects have been awarded 4 National Endowment for the Arts Grants, Including three to support Odyssey Projects work with veterans.

ASL Interpretation will be provided.
