Aidan Sciortino
Biography
I am a Photographer and Darkroom Practitioner from Rochester NY. I've been shooting film regularly for 13 years, since participating in the Flower City Art Center's Studio 678 program in the 2013 and 2014 classes. While living in Los Angeles from 2021-2024, I completed advanced coursework under Rico Obusan at the William A. Reagh Los Angeles Photography Center, learning advanced darkroom and film processing techniques. Since moving back to Rochester in 2024, I've enjoyed working both at FCAC and in my basement darkroom, where I've taught myself how to print color photographs and work with a large format camera.
