Sarah-Anne Winchester


Biography

Sarah-Anne Winchester is a mixed-media artist originally from Milton, Georgia. She received her BFA in ceramics in 2016, completed a post-bac at SUNY New Paltz, NY, and recently graduated with her MFA from Southern Illinois University. In the past several years Sarah-Anne has held various roles at Baltimore Clayworks, Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts, Natchez Clay Studio, and the Women’s Studio Workshop. She has exhibited in shows across the United States, including the NCECA Student Showcase, San Angelo Ceramics Symposium, and AMOCA. Her work explores the conflicting ideas surrounding social and familial femininity standards utilizing clay, and hair extensions.
