Call for Entries


Jiggle Me This

Join us in celebrating one of our region's many culinary claims to fame alongside vintage advertising and molds provided by our friends at the Jell-O Gallery Museum in LeRoy, NY! This exhibit is not juried, and experimentation is highly encouraged.


Important Dates:

Proposals Due: April 25

Entry Drop-Off: May 6 - 8

Opening Reception: May 9, from 6 - 9pm.

Please email kwhorton@gmail.com by April 25 and include:

  • First Name
  • Last Name
  • Phone Number
  • Due to the shelf life of the material, all we are asking for is a description of your idea with rough dimensions


Requriements:

  • Work must be at least 75% gelatin or agar
  • Can be a collaborative or solo effort
  • Can use commercial molds or single-use molds
  • Work may not be labeled as “Jell-O"
  • No wall pieces or installations please (unless they will fit on a pedestal

Ongoing Call for Entries

Throughout the year we accept exhibition proposals in all three of our program areas. Please send an email, including the required information below, to the appropriate program contact below. Thank you for your interest in exhibiting at Flower City Arts Center. Due to the volume of submissions we receive each year we will only be contacting those artists we are interested in exhibiting. Your proposal will stay on file for one year.

  • a detailed description of the show
  • 15 - 20 images of current work
  • a list of materials, sizes, and price points
  • a CV or resume an artists statement
