Billy Lyons
2025 Printmaking & Book Arts Resident
Billy T. Lyons is a multidisciplinary artist from Rochester NY. Born and raised in Rochester’s inner city, he uses his personal experience of being born cocaine positive to inspire his work. With common themes such as drug abuse, domestic violence and poverty. Billy received his BA in painting and drawing from SUNY Brockport in 2015 and his MFA from Lesley University in Cambridge MA in 2023. During his graduate program he experimented in found object sculpture focusing on the relation of objects and memories.
