2026 Printmaking & Book Arts Resident

Em McCalla (they/he) is a letterpress printmaker and book artist with a background in graphic design, typography, and illustration. Their work is informed by the history of the book as both a functional mass-produced object and an artistic medium. Their current projects are rooted in personal experience of missing memories, the passage of time, and transition. They graduated from Rochester Institute of Technology in 2026 with a BFA in graphic design.
