2024 Ceramics Resident

Kai is a ceramic sculptor from Simsbury, CT. They recently graduated from Dickinson College with a B.A in Art & Art History with a studio concentration. Kai’s work lives in the space in between the binaries: not quite human, not quite non-human. Using repetition, fragmentation, and mutation, it operates as an extension of their identity as they continue to understand their own humanity as being both mutably corporeal and introspectively otherworldly.
