Keely Wu, a painter and printmaker from Rochester, NY, earned a BFA in Illustration and is nearing the completion of an MFA in Fine Arts Studio from the Rochester Institute of Technology. Their work delves into figurative surrealism, examining intricate themes of identity. By creating narratives with human hybrids, they explore the complex relationships individuals have with themselves, others, and their environments. By juxtaposing the familiar with the uncanny, they challenge expectations and question preconceived notions.
