Laura Chenault is a queer, interdisciplinary artist creating art from a feminist and a post-modernist perspective. She has a BFA in photography from the University of Illinois. The disciplines she works in are photography, collage, book arts, installation art, performance, printmaking, zines, and film making. In addition to making art, she is passionate about building communities, sharing skills, mentoring, and teaching. She owns Laurel Tree Bindery and co-organizes the Monthly Zine Project and the Queer Zest Zine Fest. In addition, she chairs the board of the Niagara Beautification Committee and is Co-Chair and Marketing Director for the Philly Maker Faire.
