2015 Ceramics Resident
Recently I have been inspired to create my own traditional Korean potters wheel. I am fortunate enough to be at The School of the Art Institute of Chicago, learning from Thomas Hoffman, (who has made a few of his own traditional wheels) I have now shown my drawings/blueprints and just bought some wood today! I'm going to construct the wheel from white oak and I hope to have it done soon. Here are some inspiring photo's of two different style wheels I used while in Korea.
