Cyanotype, named for its beautiful blue image, is one of the first photographic processes ever used. Instructor Kylie Newcomer will teach you how to create negatives from your own digital pictures and hand-coat paper with cyanotype chemistry. Learn to create your cyanotype prints, exposed and developed under the sun (or UV light) in just a matter of minutes! Students will learn techniques to tone cyanotype prints using tea. Explore the exciting possibilities of this easy alternative process with a contemporary approach. Included: $10 Materials Fee.
